Well it’s been about 4 and a half months since I joined the Yakezie challenge and it seems my Alexa rank has stalled just a whisker shy of my goal. I have been hovering around the 100,000 barrier for weeks but just can’t seem to break it!
Still, I’m a lot better now then when I started! My Alexa then was over 1.6 million, and I felt like I was talking to myself.
But thanks to Sam’s challenge I’ve gotten to know a couple of fellow bloggers, written a handful of guest posts at FreeFromBroke and Money Beagle and gotten listed on the Wisebread list of the top 100 personal finance bloggers. Plus I’m actually making some money!
Blogging can be tough when you’re first starting out, but it helps to have specific goals and a way to track them. Sam’s challenge kept me motivated when it would have been easy to throw in the towel, and for that I owe him a great big thank you.
Thanks Sam!

LOL…you certainly took a beating. I understood your point though. I think part of it is the different pay scale here in the NY/NJ area where teachers have a strong union and get paid well with awesome benefits.
Great stuff! I’m glad you have progressed so well, and have also started making some coin!
Hope to see some member posts from you once Yakezie.com is launched and see you around there!
Best,
Sam

I’d be happy to contribute some regular posts for the new site. If we all contribute a little it will grow like a wildfire.
Mike, I did break 100,000…for a few days then it’s been hovering between 102-105K. A lot better than before the Yakezie.
I agree that being part of the group is motivating and a whole lot of fun.
